About the Occitanie Region :

The Occitanie region is the second largest in mainland France. It comprises 13 departments in south-west France. The Conseil Régional's main mission is to determine the strategic orientations and public policies for the region's development and planning. Its missions cover the economy, transport, the environment, education, culture and solidarity.

The Region guarantees territorial equity and enhances the value of regional space. This impetus is reflected in the Schéma Régional d'Aménagement de Développement Durable d'Egalité des Territoires (SRADDET).
