Strasbourg's Eurometropole pilots its projects and action plans with software VIRAGE Group
The Eurométropole de Strasbourg, with its 450,000 inhabitants, has challenges significant project management capabilities. No fewer than 8,000 people work for the Eurometropole, including 120 in the information systems department. Franck Barbi tells us more about his project management challenges .
Eurométropole de Strasbourg chose Project Monitor for its simplicity.
Project Monitor is a very easy-to-use tool, both for day-to-day users and for managers, who needed greater visibility of the project portfolio, objectives and challenges. Between recurring activities, projects and maintenance activities, we have around 500 basic projects that are tracked.
"Since using Project Monitor, the Communauté Urbaine de Strasbourg has had better visibility of project management, both in terms of resource planning and budgeting.
This tool also enables us to communicate with our hierarchical superiors: both the department heads and the elected representatives.
Macroscopically, we can give them complete visibility of project status and the project portfolio in relation to the community's strategic objectives."
Our software for public authorities & public policies
One of the major advantages of Project Monitor is its ease of use on a day-to-day basis.
