Organization and challenges

The Côtes d'Armor General Council employs 3,000 people. Like all general councils, our main focus is on the area of departmental solidarity, with particular emphasis on RSA, PMI and other issues.

How do you use Project Monitor on a daily basis?

"I use the Project Monitor software both as a project manager and as a supervisor, in particular to staff teams, do (annual) resource planning and check the input times of the various agents."

Since you started using Project Monitor, what have been the main benefits?

"In just 6 months of use, we've seen the return on our investment. For example:

  • We can now analyze the value of time spent by agents.
  • We can distinguish between time spent on application follow-up and time spent on building a new project.

This feature was our primary goal, and we've had positive feedback from project managers.

Thanks to Project Monitor, the General Council now has a high-performance project portfolio management software package. The CIO website provides visibility on milestones, on the different phases of a project, as well as on the actions to be taken in the medium and long term. In this respect, the benefits are enormous.
